Synopsis[edit]
- "When the Boy Explorers become co-ed, Bart and Lisa vow to "out scout" each other at the annual jamboree. However, the episode is hacked by Pseudo-nonymous, who threaten to release unaired clips from the show unless they are paid $20 million in Bitcoin."
Plot[edit]
Bart and Lisa prepare for the Boy Explorers' annual jamboree, fighting as usual. Later, at the jamboree, the scout manager loses them, and Homer and Marge arrive at the site when the children emerge from a bush behind them, requesting to go home, watch TV, and never go outdoors again. They all agree, and Homer tells them how they almost get divorced over something insignificant while the kids are gone but resolve it when Homer apologizes using eye contact.
During Bart and Lisa's fight, the screen gets hijacked by Pseudo-nonymous, who threaten to air hundreds of hours of never-before-aired footage of the show unless they receive $20 million in Bitcoin. In "The Truth About Lenny", at Moe's Tavern, Homer and Moe reveal to Carl that Lenny is just a figment of his imagination to cope with the trauma of his previous best friend not being real. When Lenny disappears, Carl creates another friend named Steven.
In "Don't Have a Prediction, Man", during the final moments of "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire", future Bart appears and reveals to the Simpson family future events, creating their now-famous list of predictions that occur in later episodes. These include the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2016 going to Bengt R. Holmström, Donald Trump becoming president, gas hoarding, pandemics, Germany beating Brazil in the 2014 World Cup, and Disney buying Fox and being absorbed by Panda Express.
In "Yar, They Blow", on a stormy night, Sea Captain and Willie are on a boat ride together when lightning strikes a gasoline tank, starting a fire. The captain instructs Willie on how to extinguish it, but Willie fails by beating it with the fire extinguisher instead of using it. After throwing it on the deck, it finally activates. Immediately after, they are swept away by an incoming tidal wave.
In "21 Chump Street", Martin comes home from school to reveal he's married, his name is Reggie, and he works at the school instead of being a student. He's 36 and the father of two children. His relationship with his wife Doreen suffers due to his job as a covert police officer. He reveals that he has a condition that makes him look 10, while his wife reveals she's expecting their third child. Back with Pseudo-nonymous, they still haven't received the money, and when the voice changer app's free trial expires, they fall in love with each other just before sending another batch of clips.
In "Lisa Learns French", Lisa stands in front of a building and calls the fire department. However, since she's learning French in class, she speaks only French with the operator and lets the fire grow worse until people and cows flee in flames, and it reaches a fireworks building, causing a massive explosion.
In "Field Goal of Dreams", Homer builds a football field incorrectly to attract the ghosts of football players, inadvertently creating a Canadian field. Ghost players, including Doug Flutie, arrive to play. In "John Frink of Mars", Professor Frink is stranded on Mars, left behind by other astronauts, with only three days of air and water remaining. He solves the problem and creates clones, but they build a rocket and escape, leaving him stranded again on the red planet.
In "Homer Simpson - Apology to Finland", Homer apologizes to the people of Finland for confusing them with Norway but ends up saying they live in South America, forcing him to record it again. In "The Seduction of Seymour Skinner", after another one of Agnes' strange requests, Skinner visits the Sleep-Eazy Motel and has a relaxing evening with someone posing as his mother. When he returns home, it's revealed that it was really Agnes in disguise, just as she suspects the man wasn't her son.
In "Homer's 'Stache Grab", Ned asks Homer if he knows what happened to his mustache. Homer, mowing the lawn, turns around stroking the mustache he stole on his chin, prompting Ned to declare to his boys that they're now Jewish. In "Spider Fan: Turn Off the Snark", Comic Book Guy reviews hamburgers and comics before going to the doctor, where he dies from oxygen deprivation to the brain, giving two stars to Heaven.
In "Rise of the Wiseguys", at Moe's Tavern, Homer starts noticing how often he's seen Raphael in different jobs. Raphael denies it, claiming he's mistaken. The scene shifts underground to reveal a Raphael-headed creature spewing out identical children. Back with Pseudo-nonymous, they pull away from their kiss and reveal their faces—and their love—before showing a series of unreleased episode titles along with images.
Afterward, the building they're in is surrounded by the FBI. They try to shut the show down by airing a clip of Santa's Little Helper talking. Homer spits coffee in shock—not because the dog talks, but because of what he says. Next, clips reveal Eddie as Ralph's real father, Lisa ordering veal, Milhouse discovering through a DNA test that he's not Kirk and Luann's son (to their joy), Selma revealing to Marge that she's not her sister but her mother, with Disco Stu as her father, and Willie learning he's not the rake's real father, as the rake is Welsh.
Following these revelations, they cut to scenes from old episodes. Hans Moleman becomes old and wrinkled after being a young athlete, due to Homer throwing a uranium rod on his back. Chalmers is shown whipping himself in front of a crucifix, shouting "Sinner" repeatedly. The final scene shows Homer waking up from a coma after "Bart the Daredevil", realizing everything from then on has been a coma-induced dream.
The FBI breaks into the building, and the two hackers threaten to blow Disney shows to Magic Kingdom, including their new secret I.P., Baby Jeff Goldblum. The FBI backs off, unwilling to risk the threat. The hackers escape on a scooter, revealing to each other that their name is Ashley.
